Ernie Bio

Ernie B. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment and mentorship roles, currently holding the position of Managing Director at Forgepoint Capital since October 2018. In addition to contributions at Forgepoint, Ernie serves as a Series B Investor and Board member at Synadia and as a Series A Investor and Board member at Huntress. Ernie is also actively involved as a Board Observer for Bishop Fox and 1Kosmos and as a Series B Investor and Board Observer for NowSecure. Other roles include investing and advising at KSOC and mentoring at Endless Frontier Labs. Ernie maintains a connection to academia as a Visiting Fellow at the National Security Institute - George Mason University - Antonin Scalia Law School. Prior to the current endeavors, Ernie served in the United States Air Force for over two decades, specializing as an F-16 Fighter Pilot, Cybersecurity expert, and in DoD Innovation. Educational credentials include an MBA with a Finance Specialization from NYU Stern School of Business and a B.S. in Cellular & Molecular Biology with a Chemistry Minor from Loyola University Maryland.
