David Fields

David Fields has over 38 years of experience in the real estate industry. David began their career in 1982 as an attorney at Baker & Hostetler LLP. In 1985, they moved to Pircher, Nichols & Meeks where they negotiated acquisitions and dispositions nationwide for Chicago-based JMB Realty Corporation. In 1989, they became Vice President, General Counsel at The Irvine Company, Retail Properties, where they were part of a senior management team that expanded the asset base from 3MM to 8MM square feet. In 2006, they joined Bayer Properties, LLC as Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer, where they were a member of the Executive Committee with P&L responsibility for Asset Management. In 2014, they became Executive Vice President/Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at Bishop Ranch by Sunset Development Company. In 2021, they became a Member of the Board of Directors at CBL Properties, and in 2022 they became a Member of the Board of Directors at EastGroup Properties Inc.

David Fields obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University, followed by a J.D. from Harvard Law School. David also holds a State Bar of California license and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker.
