Tyler Newkirk

Tyler Newkirk is a seasoned industrial designer with extensive experience in leading design initiatives across various sectors. Currently serving as Lead Industrial Designer at BISSELL Homecare, Inc. since March 2020, Tyler previously held the position of Senior Industrial Designer at the same company. From January 2010 to December 2020, Tyler was a Professor at Kendall College of Art and Design, imparting knowledge and expertise to students. Prior to this, Tyler worked as a Senior Designer at Yanfeng Automotive Interiors, where responsibilities included continuing a previous role with Johnson Controls, the latter of which was also held as a Senior Designer from February 2012 to July 2015. Earlier experience includes a role as an Industrial Designer at Tiger Studio from January 2009 to February 2012. Tyler holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design from Kendall College of Art and Design, obtained in 2008.
