Laly Bar-Ilan

Laly Bar-Ilan has over 20 years of experience in natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, and data science. Laly has held various roles in different companies and organizations. From 2002 to 2005, Laly worked as a Research and Teaching Assistant in the Linguistics Department at Tel Aviv University. After that, they joined Transformer as an NLP Engineer from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, they moved to WhiteSmoke, where they served as a Product Manager & NLP Engineer until 2011. Laly then became the Director of Product Development, followed by roles as VP Product and VP R&D and Product until 2014. In the same year, Laly co-founded and served as CEO of Signify. Laly also worked as a Freelance Consultant, specializing in NLP and Machine Learning, from 2014 to 2015. Laly joined Bit in 2015 as the company's CTO until 2016 when they became the Chief Scientist. In 2016, they also started working as a Freelance Expert in NLP, Machine Learning, and Data Science for Inspire A.I. Additionally, in 2017, Laly served as a Data Scientist & NLP Engineer at CaliberMind until 2018. Throughout their career, Laly has demonstrated expertise in NLP, machine learning, and data science, and has played key technical and leadership roles in various companies.

Laly Bar-Ilan attended Tel Aviv University from 2001 to 2006, where they obtained a Master's degree in Linguistics and Cognitive Science.
