Ashlesha Patil

Ashlesha Patil has a diverse work experience in various research and educational roles. Ashlesha worked as a Research Assistant at bit.bio starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they were a Postgraduate Researcher at Imperial College London from March 2022 to September 2022. Ashlesha also served as a Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Tutor at King's College London from September 2020 to May 2021.

Ashlesha has also gained experience in bioinformatics through their roles at STEM-Away, where they were a Bioinformatics Project Lead in July 2020 and a Bioinformatics Research Intern from June 2020 to July 2020. Additionally, they worked as a Student Library Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley from February 2020 to June 2020.

Prior to that, Ashlesha worked as a Resident Health Worker at the International House at UC Berkeley from January 2020 to May 2020, where they provided health advising and resources to residents. Ashlesha also completed a work placement at Biogen in June 2019.

Ashlesha Patil's education history begins with their completion of a High School Diploma in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics A-Level at Watford Grammar School for Girls from 2016 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology with a focus on Neurobiology at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2019 to 2020. From 2018 to 2021, Ashlesha continued their studies at King's College London, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience. Currently, in 2021, they have enrolled in Imperial College London to pursue an MSc in Translational Neuroscience.
