Jana Urbanova

Jana Urbanova has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jana is currently working as a Scientist at bit.bio since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Wellcome Sanger Institute as an Advanced Research Assistant from January 2020 to May 2022, and also from November 2017 to December 2019. Before that, they worked at the Institute of Molecular Genetics of the Czech Academy of Sciences as a Research Associate from July 2013 to November 2017, and as a PHD Student from September 2007 to June 2013. Jana also has experience as a Tour Guide at CK Víkend from August 2006 to December 2016, and as a Student at the Laboratory of the Biology and Pathology of the Eye from November 2004 to September 2007.

Jana Urbanova completed their education in two phases. From 2002 to 2007, they attended Charles University where they obtained a Master's degree in Immunology. Following this, they pursued further studies at the same university from 2007 to 2013, eventually earning a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Developmental and Cell Biology.
