Jan Beckers is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the tech industry. As the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of BIT Capital GmbH since July 2017, Jan leads a tech equity asset management firm with $1.3 billion in assets under management. Jan also founded and owns Ocean Investment Holding, where investments span over 50 tech companies, including early funding rounds for Clio.com and DeliveryHero. Previously, Jan served as Founder and CEO of IONIQ Group, collaborating on the creation of over 20 internet companies. Jan has held key roles at Team Europe Ventures and Fyber, where Jan pioneered digital advertising and contributed to substantial revenue growth. Additionally, Jan co-founded Absolventa.de, a prominent German job platform for graduates, which was later acquired. Jan holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Münster.
