Samuel Lourensz

Samuel Lourensz is an experienced Equity Research Analyst currently working at BIT Capital since August 2022, focusing on Internet and Digital Consumer companies. Prior to this role, Samuel was with Arete Research from December 2018 to August 2022, covering various Internet sectors such as e-commerce and ad-funded firms, and conducting extensive fundamental analysis within the tech sector. Earlier experience includes roles at Cantab Asset Management, where analytical responsibilities involved managing client investment portfolios, and internships at M&G Investments, Man Group, BNP Paribas, Coutts, and Handelsbanken, which provided a broad exposure to finance and investment analysis. Samuel holds a master's degree in Financial Analysis and Fund Management from the University of Exeter and a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
