Maryann Bullion (Mitchell) has a long and varied work experience. Maryann began their career as a Law Clerk at the Miami-Dade County Office of the Inspector General in 2004. Maryann then moved on to a Legal Intern role at the Federal Highway Administration in the same year. In 2005, they were a Certified Legal Intern at the Miami-Dade State's Attorney's Office and an Assistant Public Defender at the Lake County Public Defender's Office. From 2006 to 2010, Maryann worked as an Associate Attorney at Matuszewich, Kelly & McKeever, LLP, practicing primarily Civil Litigation including Government Law, Commercial Law, Family Law, and Bankruptcy. From 2010 to 2013, they were Counsel, Financial Crimes Unit at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). In 2019, Maryann became a Charter Member at TechGC. From 2018 to 2020, they were General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Bitcoin IRA \u2219 The World's Largest and Most Secure Bitcoin IRA, and from 2020 to present, they are General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Digital Trust. Additionally, from 2011 to 2015, Maryann was a Captain, Judge Advocate at the United States Army Reserve, providing legal advice to the Command and overseeing training in financial fraud, computer and cybercrime, money laundering and complex e-discovery.

Maryann Bullion (Mitchell) obtained their Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005, where they studied Law. Prior to that, they earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Spring Hill College in 2001. In addition, Maryann holds a CFE certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), obtained in April 2018, and a CAMS certification from ACAMS, obtained in October 2014.
