Dr. Azeem Alam BEM is an experienced professional with a background in healthcare and music. In 2015, they began their career as a songwriter at Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI). In 2018, they became an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College London, where they co-authored over 35 publications and book chapters, and 10 national and international presentations. In 2020, they co-founded and became a director at BiteMedicine (BiteWorld). Dr. Azeem also began working as a Medical Education Fellow at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. In 2021, they became a Digital Health Clinician at Cera. Dr. Azeem Alam BEM began their education in 2003 at St Albans School. Dr. Azeem then attended King's College London from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.). In 2014 to 2015, they attended Imperial College London and obtained a BSc (Hons) in Medical Sciences with Surgery and Anaesthesia. In 2020 to 2021, they attended King's College London and obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Clinical Education. In 2021, they attended Harvard University and completed a Module entitled: ‘PredictionX: John Snow and the Cholera Outbreak of 1854’. Dr. Azeem also attended the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, U. of London in 2021, completing a 3 week programme entitled: 'Disease Outbreaks in Low and Middle Income Countries' and a 6 week programme entitled: 'Global Blindness: Planning and Managing for Eye Care Services'. Dr. Azeem Alam BEM has also obtained several certifications, including a Medal of the Order of the British Empire (BEM) from the Cabinet Office in 2021, Basic Surgical Skills from The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2020, and Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Part A) from The Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2019. Dr. Azeem also won the International Songwriting Awards: Winner 2022 (Male singer-songwriter) from Music Aid in 2022, and the UK Songwriting Contest: Winner from BRIT Awards Limited in 2022.
