Sebastian Giloth

Sebastian Giloth has a diverse work experience. Sebastian recently joined BitGo in 2022 as the Deputy CCO/CRO Germany. Prior to that, they worked at Aareal Bank AG from 2019 to 2022, starting as a Junior Compliance Officer/Analyst with an IT-focus. In this role, they were responsible for developing IT tools related to AML, KYC, and Sanctions, as well as conducting risk assessments and ad hoc analysis. Sebastian also had a working student position in the same company, focusing on non-financial risk and anti-financial crime. Sebastian also had an internship at UniCredit Bank Austria AG in 2019, where they gained experience in advisory and operations related to AFC. Sebastian started their career with an internship at RHH Treuhand GmbH in 2017, where they worked in audit and tax. Prior to that, they worked as an electronic technician and apprentice in the field of electricity at VSK-Technik Kübler GmbH from 2008 to 2015.

Sebastian Giloth obtained their Fachhochschulreife (Specialised A-levels) from Berufbildende Schule Alzey during the period of 2013 to 2015. Following that, they attended Hochschule Mainz - University of Applied Sciences from 2016 to 2020, where they earned their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Wirtschaftsrecht (Business Law). In April 2019, Sebastian also obtained the certification of Data Protection Officer from TÜV Rheinland Group.
