Gonzalo Lamas

Gonzalo Lamas has a diverse work experience in the communications and PR field. Gonzalo is currently working at Bitpanda as the Global Head of Communications & PR. Gonzalo began this role in March 2023 and continues to hold it. Prior to this, they worked as the Communications & PR Manager at Bitpanda from July 2021 to April 2023. Gonzalo also has teaching experience, serving as a Guest Lecturer at Universidad Fernando Pessoa Canarias from February 2021 to April 2023 and at Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2019 to April 2023. Gonzalo has also held positions at Hill+Knowlton Strategies as a Practice Director in PR & Comms, focusing on Disruptive Players and Financial + Professional Services. Before that, they were a Senior PR & Communications Consultant at Evercom and a PR & Communications Account Executive at OmnicomPRGroup España. Gonzalo has also worked as a Locutor & Productor at Cadena COPE and as a Redactor at lasemana.es.

Gonzalo Lamas has a diverse education history. Gonzalo began their academic journey in 2006, attending the Universidad CEU San Pablo, where they pursued a combined degree in Law and Journalism. This program lasted for six years, concluding in 2012.

In 2014, Lamas entered the Escuela de Empresa, where they undertook a course on Online Marketing and Business 2.0. Gonzalo completed this program in the following year.

Additionally, in 2015, Lamas enrolled in the Escuela de Empresa once again, this time participating in a Superior Course on Coaching. The duration of this course did not exceed one year, as it concluded in the same year it commenced.

In recent years, from 2018 to 2020, Lamas attended the EAE Business School, pursuing a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Executive Studies. Their studies in this program encompassed a comprehensive understanding of the administration and management of businesses in a general context.
