Lidiya Shalay

Lidiya Shalay is a seasoned compliance professional currently serving as the Core Compliance Officer at Bitpanda since July 2022. Previously, Lidiya worked at Sberbank Europe AG as a Compliance/AML Officer, focusing on ESG/Sustainable Finance and Regulatory Compliance. Experience includes roles as a Junior Compliance/AML Officer and Compliance/AML Intern at the International Atomic Energy Agency, as well as positions at Avis Law Firm as a Junior Legal Associate, and Lviv City Council as an International and Legal Affairs Assistant. Academically, Lidiya holds a Master of Laws (LLM) and Bachelor's degree from Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, and has pursued graduate studies in law and alternative dispute resolution at the University of Vienna, along with participation in a summer school on European Union Law at the European Forum Alpbach.
