Balázs Rostás

Balázs Rostás has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Balázs started their career as a Demonstrator at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they assisted students with programming assignments and taught them the basics of programming languages.

After that, Balázs worked at Avatao, initially as a Full Stack Engineer, then as a DevOps Engineer, and later as a Tech Lead. During their time at Avatao, they managed the tech team and developed a Kubernetes based runtime for on-demand hands-on challenges using a Python stack.

Currently, Balázs is working at Bitrise as a Principal Engineer and Domain Technical Lead. Prior to this role, they held the position of Staff Software Engineer and Team Technical Lead. Balázs'sresponsibilities at Bitrise include designing a Gitops CI/CD pipeline, creating tools for developers, and building the scheduling system for build orchestration using Kubernetes infrastructure.

Balázs Rostás obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Szabó Lőrinc Kéttannyelvű Általános Iskola és Gimnázium from 2012 to 2014 and at Ketchikan High School in 2010 and 2011. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications such as CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator from The Linux Foundation in 2021, and various specializations in cloud architecture and engineering from Coursera in 2020.
