Szabolcs Gelencsér

Szabolcs Gelencsér has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Szabolcs started their career at Danubisoft Kft. as a C++ developer, where they focused on simplifying product development and improving user experience. Szabolcs then worked at SAP as a vocational trainee, enhancing the security and functionality of SAP IBP. After that, they joined BME IK as a Cloud Engineer, where they contributed to an OpenStack service for education and research. Szabolcs then moved on to Balabit as a DevOps Engineer, implementing CI/CD pipelines and ensuring legal compliance. Szabolcs also worked at prodHost Ltd. as an Infrastructure Engineer, designing and creating infrastructure with Terraform and Azure. Szabolcs later joined IBM Cloud Video (Ustream) as a Senior Software Engineer and Technical Lead, working on their Enterprise Content Delivery Network. Currently, they are at Bitrise, where they have held various roles including Distinguished Software Engineer, Principal Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, and Technical Lead. In these roles, they have demonstrated skills in technical leadership, software development, improving operational processes, and driving business impact.

Szabolcs Gelencsér attended Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Software Engineering. Szabolcs then pursued their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Engineering at Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 2017 to 2019.
