Alexey Zelenkin

Alexey Zelenkin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Alexey is currently working as the Co-Founder and CTO at Bitskout since January 2021. Prior to this, Alexey co-founded Saferoom in 2014, where they developed an encryption extension for Evernote and other online services. Alexey has also worked at Cisco, starting as a Network Consulting Engineer in April 2016 and progressing to roles such as Consulting Engineer, Senior IoT Solutions Engineer, and Software Engineer (Frontend) until September 2022. Before joining Cisco, Alexey worked at Samsung Electronics as an EPC/vEPC Solution Architect and EPC Solution engineer, where they focused on developing and testing EPC features, leading customer support, and designing documentation. Alexey started their career as a Lead Web Developer at Security&Communications Software Inc. in 2006 and later worked as an ASP.NET+ORACLE developer at Baltros in 2007. Alexey has a wealth of experience in software development, engineering, and leadership roles.

Alexey Zelenkin attended ITMO University from 2002 to 2008, where they earned a Specialist degree in Optical networks. In addition to their formal education, they have acquired several certifications. In 2014, they obtained the AWS Certified Solution Architect credential from Amazon. The following year, in 2015, they became an AWS Certified Developer - Associate and also obtained the AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate certification. In 2016, they received two Red Hat certifications, including the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHEL 7) and the Red Hat Certified Engineer in Openstack, both from Red Hat.
