Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Bitso since December 2021, Carlos previously held significant roles at Grupo Financiero Banorte as Associate Director of the Analytics Business Unit and Advanced Analytics Manager. Earlier career experiences include a position in Macroeconomic Modeling and Forecasting at Scotiabank and serving as Deputy Director of Financial Markets Analysis and Economic Analyst at the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Carlos holds a Master of Arts in Applied Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, both from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
