Christian Avila

Christian Daniel Avila Sánchez is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and DevOps. Currently a Staff Engineer - Platform and previously held roles as Engineering Director - Infrastructure and Head of DevOps at Bitso since July 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey from August 2021 to June 2022 and as Head of DevOps/SRE at GBM Grupo Bursátil Mexicano from October 2015 to June 2019, where responsibilities included enhancing secure delivery of new features through CI/CD. Christian's technical expertise also encompasses roles as a Software Architect at GBM, and Sr System Engineer at Infosys, where major contributions were made to application maintenance for global e-commerce clients. Christian holds multiple degrees from Tecnológico de Monterrey and Universidad Tecnológica de México, specializing in project management, information technology management, and software engineering.
