Matej Gašperin

Matej Gašperin has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Matej is currently working at Bitstamp as the Head of Product Engineering. Prior to that, they worked at Cosylab as the Director of Engineering, Medical Services, where they were responsible for providing medical device engineering services to customers. Matej also held the role of Group Manager at Cosylab. Matej has academic experience as well, having worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Nova Gorica and as a Researcher at the Jozef Stefan Institute. Matej also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, and as a Teaching Assistant at the School of Technologies and Systems and the University of Nova Gorica.

Matej Gašperin holds a Ph.D in Studies, which they obtained from the Jozef Stefan International Postgraduate School. Matej completed this degree between the years 2006 and 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the University of Ljubljana, which they completed from 2001 to 2006. In 2018, they briefly attended the IEDC - Bled School of Management, where they acquired a GMP (General Management Program) in Business Administration and Management.
