Karelia Nuevo has extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving in the role of Listado y mantenimiento at BIVA MX since June 2017, focusing on the maintenance of records related to listed companies and securities, as well as managing technological solutions for information delivery. Previously, Karelia worked at the Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores as an Inspectora de Emisoras from July 2013 to May 2017, where responsibilities included analyzing documentation and authorizing securities emissions, ensuring compliance with financial reporting requirements. Early in the career, Karelia was an Analista contable at Casas Geo, tasked with reviewing accounting records and preparing financial statements. Karelia holds a Licenciatura in Administración from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, complemented by coursework at Western University in 2010.
