David Carrillo has a diverse work experience in various roles. David worked as a Mechanical Engineer at BiVACOR Inc from June 2020 to the present. Prior to that, they were a Mechanical Engineering Intern at the same company from March 2020 to May 2020.

From October 2018 to July 2019, David worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the UCLA Bionics Lab. In this role, they assisted in the development of a hand exoskeleton system for stroke patients by creating engineering drawings, designing and testing parts, and assisting in assembly/disassembly.

David's earlier work experience includes being an Undergraduate Student Researcher in the UCLA Bionics Lab from September 2015 to January 2016, where they assisted in developing a dome backdrop for a virtual reality interface used in the rehabilitation of stroke patients. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Intern at Zenith Insurance Company in August 2015, where they accessed databases and updated medical provider contact information.

David Carrillo received their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA. David attended the university from 2015 to 2019.
