Sofya Savkina

Sofya Savkina is an experienced UX research and design professional currently serving as an Experience Research Manager at Bixal, where responsibilities include establishing UX research processes and coaching researchers. Sofya previously held multiple roles at ICF Next, including Lead UX Researcher and UX Analyst, and contributed to user experience initiatives through Design Thinking and workshops. Sofya's background also includes UX research roles at Ventera and a leadership position in a pro-bono initiative called motherhood.design, aimed at supporting the mental health of new mothers. Earlier career experiences include marketing and communications roles at EastBanc Technologies and a business analyst position at Bilfinger Tebodin. Sofya holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from Ural State University and an Associate's degree in Visual Communication/Graphic Design from Prince George's Community College.
