Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Michael most recently worked as an Advanced Analytics Modeler at Pluto TV starting in October 2021. Prior to that, they were a Data Science Specialist at Evolus from October 2020 to July 2021. Before joining Evolus, they served as a Senior Data Scientist at Aviana Global Technologies from January 2019 to September 2020. Michael also has experience as a Lead Data Scientist at MINDBODY, Inc. from April 2018 to December 2018 and as a Data Scientist at Hanover Research from July 2013 to March 2018. Michael began their career at the U.S. Department of the Treasury as a Research Economist from July 2012 to June 2013 and later worked as an Assistant Economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research from November 2011 to June 2012. Prior to entering the field of data science, Michael worked as an English Second Language Teacher at AEON Corporation from June 2005 to October 2011.

Michael Johnson has a solid education background. Michael completed their Master of Science in Statistics at Texas A&M University from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts in International Economics at The George Washington University from 2011 to 2013. Their undergraduate studies were done at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Michael Johnson has also obtained certifications in the field of Amazon Web Services. In January 2019, they received the certifications for Amazon Web Services Big Data Specialty and Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, both from Amazon Web Services.
