Husam Arabiat

Husam Arabiat is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in financial services and leadership roles in various organizations. Currently serving as Regional CEO for MENAT at Biz2Credit since May 2023, Husam has a strong background in project leadership and risk management, having held the position of Senior Project Leader at the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development from May 2021 to April 2023. Prior roles include Country CEO at First Abu Dhabi Bank USA, and Group Head of Market & Liquidity Risk, showcasing expertise in market dynamics. Additional leadership experience includes positions as MD - Head of Treasury at Eagle Proprietary Investments, Head of Private Equity at Global Banking Corporation, and multiple roles at Citi, where contributions spanned Global Head of Capital Markets Operational Risk and Regional Head of Market Risk. Husam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, earned between 1988 and 1993.
