Derrick Thompson

Derrick Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Derrick started their career at Wang Labs in 1981 as a Customer Engineer and worked there until 1992. In 1994, they joined Hewlett-Packard as an Engineer and later became a Support Engineer. Derrick stayed with Hewlett-Packard until 2005. In the same year, they also started working at Service IT Direct and SourceDirect as a Critical Systems Engineer. At SourceDirect, they also took on the additional role of Client Business Manager. In 2016, they joined Bizbang as a Critical Systems Engineer. Overall, Derrick Thompson has accumulated extensive experience in critical systems engineering and client management.

Derrick Thompson attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 1977 to 1979, studying electrical engineering. Following this, they enrolled at the Control Data Institute of Technology from 1979 to 1981, where they completed their Associate of Science degree in Computer Technology.
