Daniel Orlean has had a long and varied career in the business world. Daniel began their career in 2000 as the CMO and Director of Marketing and Commercial at Affero Lab. In 2001, they began their MSc studies and research at the Laboratory of Software Engineering at PUC-Rio, which they completed in 2003. In 2016, they became the VP of Marketing at Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, a position they held until 2017, when they founded Fla eSports. In 2017, they also became an Angel Investor for Wedy. In 2019, they became an Advisor and Angel Investor for Tero, and also became the CEO and Host of Widetalk at Wide Educação. In 2020, they became the Founder and Co-CEO of Voltz, and an Angel Investor for IBBX. Daniel also held the position of Founder and Shareholder, and Founder and Board Member at BizCapital until 2020, when they left to focus on Voltz.

Daniel Orlean obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro between 2000 and 2003. Daniel then went on to pursue a Post-Graduate Specialization in Knowledge Management and Organizational Intelligence from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro between 2003 and 2004. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineering Degree in Computer Science from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro between 1996 and 2000. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including FIDC from ANBIMA Certificação e Educação in October 2022, Leadership and Customer Experience from the Institute for Business Excellence in May 2019, DISC from ETALENT in March 2011, SEMrush Certification for SEOs from SEMrush Academy in February 2018, Inbound Certification from HubSpot in July 2016, 6Ds from Affero Lab, and ROI from Affero Lab.
