Saar Zacharish

Saar Zacharish has a strong background in business development, finance, and management consulting. Saar began their career at Solbar Industries as an R&D Manager from 2004 to 2007. Saar then joined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant and later became an Engagement Manager from 2007 to 2013. In 2010, Saar worked as a Corporate Finance MBA intern at Amgen and a Business Development MBA intern at BD. Saar also co-founded TheMerrier in 2010. From 2011 to 2013, Saar rejoined McKinsey & Company as a Consultant. Saar then joined Bank Hapoalim in 2013 as a Strategic Advisor to the Head of Retail Banking Division. Saar progressed within the company and held the role of Head of Retail Banking Strategy, Marketing, and Financial Planning from 2015 to 2016. Saar subsequently became the Chief of Staff in the CEO office before transitioning to the role of Chief Digital Officer in the Innovation Division from 2018 to 2021. Currently, Saar is the COO at bizi and has recently been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer starting in August 2022. Throughout their career, Saar has focused on digital banking, payments, and fintech and has utilized data and analytics to improve banking products.

Saar Zacharish pursued their education at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biotechnology. Saar later attended The Wharton School from 2009 to 2011, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Finance.
