Diego Bauer Domeyko started their career as a Volunteer Mentor at Zexel in April 2023, where they gained experience as a UX Designer. Diego then moved on to Bizimply in October 2022, working as a Product Designer, focusing on simplifying workforce management for hospitality and retail companies. Prior to that, Diego worked as a UX/UI Designer at Zexel from October 2021 to September 2022, where they led the design for the MVP and v2 of the product. Before transitioning into the field of design, Diego had experience as a Restaurant Manager at The Ivy Collection from February 2017 to April 2020, managing teams and delivering training workshops. Diego also gained experience as a PR & Marketing Executive at b2o in 2015, a Brand Communications Manager at People & Partners / Chile in 2014, and as a Head of Communications & Training at Gate Gourmet from May 2012 to April 2014. Diego's early career consisted of roles as a Clients & Industries Consultant at Deloitte from November 2011 to April 2012 and as a Marketing Executive at Teletón from March 2010 to February 2011, where they worked on planning and executing events and campaigns for the integration of children with disabilities.
Diego Bauer Domeyko has a diverse education history. In 2020, they obtained a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the UX Design Institute. In the same year, they also earned a Diploma in Digital Marketing, Social Media, and E-Commerce from the Fitzwilliam Institute. In 2013, Diego pursued higher education at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez, where they completed a Master's degree in Organizational Psychology, which lasted until 2014. Earlier in their academic journey, Diego attended Universidad Diego Portales from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. During their time at Universidad Diego Portales, Diego briefly studied English at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2007. To further enhance their skills in user experience, Diego pursued a Mentorship program in User Experience at The Interaction Design Foundation in 2021. In addition to their formal education, Diego has also obtained certifications in Human-Computer Interaction from the Interaction Design Foundation and in UX Design from the UX Design Institute.
