Shay Hoosier

Shay Hoosier has a diverse and extensive work experience. In 2022, Shay Hoosier joined BizIQ - Smart Growth Marketing as the Vice President of Human Resources. Prior to that, from 2009 to 2022, Shay held various roles at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, including Sr. Director of Human Resources and Vice President of Human Resources. In these roles, Shay led HR Business Partner (HRBP) teams and was responsible for integrating ReachLocal's HR team into the Gannett model. From 2001 to 2009, Shay worked at Magee Resource Group, LLC as the Vice President of Operations, where they led executive recruiting teams in multiple divisions. Additionally, Shay has held positions in marketing at XFL Inc and as Director of Gamenight Operations at the Louisiana IceGators Hockey Club.

Shay Hoosier completed a Bachelor's degree in Business & Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette from 1995 to 2000. Subsequently, Shay pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Business Administration from Centenary College of Louisiana between 2005 and 2008. Additionally, Shay Hoosier has earned certifications in "Coaching for Results" and "Managing for Results" from LinkedIn in May 2018.
