Elena Correas

Elena Correas is the Chief Growth Officer at BizMerlinHR. Elena has over fifteen years of experience in the public and private sector, with a focus on international development, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing.

Elena started their career as a business analyst at McKinsey&Company. Elena then transitioned to the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) where they worked as a programme manager. In this role, Elena oversaw UNDP's environmental portfolio in Latin America and the Caribbean.

In 2006, Elena joined Ashoka, a global organisation that supports social entrepreneurs. As the Global Fellowship Programme Director, Elena managed a team of over 100 staff and fellows across 60 countries. In this role, they also launched Ashoka's first ever impact investing fund.

Elena is passionate about using their skills and experience to drive social impact. Elena is a board member of several organisations including the Acumen Fund and the Center for Social Innovation at Stanford University.

Elena Correas has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IE Business School, a Master in International Development and Project Development from Instituto Universitario Ortega y Gasset- Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and a BSc in Environmental Science from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Elena Correas reports to Amrinder Arora, CEO. They work with Chinki Dhiman - Senior Manager, Technology, Richard Butti - VP, Sales, and Andy Park - Chief Financial Officer.
