Charles Truong

Charles Truong has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Director of Product & Montreal Site Manager at Bizzabo. Charles joined Bizzabo through the acquisition of klik, where they served as the President and was responsible for the company's profitability and leadership team management.

Before joining Bizzabo, Charles was the Program Director at Dialogue and headed the product department at Safeteams. Charles also held multiple roles at PixMob, including President of klik, where they managed the company's P&L and product management team. Additionally, they served as the Head of Digital Innovation and General Manager at PixMob, overseeing the company's growth strategies and implementing systems and processes.

Prior to their tenure at PixMob, Charles worked as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Canada, focusing on technology strategy and architecture. Charles played a key role in developing business-aligned IT strategies and implementing IT transformation projects.

Early in their career, Charles worked at Averna as a Product Marketing Manager and Product Owner, leading software engineering teams and growing the client base. Charles also gained experience as a Software Developer at Autodesk and a Sales Support and Quality Assurance Analyst at Genetec through paid internships.

Charles Truong has a diverse education history. Charles obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the Université de Sherbrooke, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Following this, they pursued a Certificate in Communication from UQAM | Université du Québec à Montréal, completing the program from 2006 to 2007. Charles then furthered their education at HEC Montréal, where they earned an MBA in Business Administration from 2011 to 2012.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Charles Truong has also attained several certifications. These include becoming a Professional Engineer, certified by the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec in 2011. Charles has completed the Product Management Certified program offered by Pragmatic Marketing in 2010. Furthermore, they have acquired the ITIL v3 Foundation certification from EXIN and is a Certified System Administrator through ServiceNow, both in 2013. Charles has also attended various programs, including the Deep Learning Summer School at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute in 2017, the MIT Sloan School of Management's programs on "Closing the Gap Between Strategy and Execution" in 2016, and "Creating High-Velocity Organization" in 2016. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Global Sales Strategies from ESADE Business & Law School in 2015.
