Lauren McCullough has held various leadership roles throughout their work experience. Lauren began their career at The Post-Star as a Copy Editor/Page Designer before moving on to Newsday as an Assistant News Manager. At The Associated Press, they worked in multiple roles, including Online Editor, Online Coordinator for Domestic Bureaus, and Manager of Social Networks & News Engagement. Lauren then joined NBC as the Deputy Managing Editor at Breaking News, where they led editorial teams and focused on audience development. Lauren then transitioned to Facebook, where they built and scaled an editorial team for news and curation products. Lauren later joined Tumblr as the Content Lead, responsible for overseeing owned communication channels. Lauren's career then shifted to The Muse, where they served as the Senior Director of Marketing and later as the Head of Marketing, overseeing various marketing and communication strategies. Following the acquisition of x.ai, they joined Bizzabo as the VP of Brand & Communication. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Marketing at Bizzabo, where they are responsible for brand strategy, demand generation, digital and content marketing, SEO & SEM, PR & Communications, social media, and internal communications. Throughout their career, Lauren has demonstrated expertise in marketing, communications, brand strategy, and audience engagement.

Lauren McCullough has a diverse education history. Lauren attended Sacred Heart Academy from 1996 to 2000 for their high school education. Afterward, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Journalism and Sociology at Hofstra University, graduating from there in 2004. In 2000, they had also briefly attended the College of the Holy Cross, focusing on Sociology. Later, in 2010, they attended the Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism for a program in Media Executive Leadership.
