Andrea Megan Hektor

Andrea Hektor is a seasoned structural engineer currently serving as Director at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group, with a focus on BIG Engineering and BIG CPH Sustainability since October 2018. Previously, Andrea held significant positions at KPFF Consulting Engineers, including Associate, and managed projects in the NYC region and internationally from September 2016 to September 2018, as well as from June 2006 to July 2016. Notable projects include the 340+ Dixwell multifamily mass timber building in Connecticut, the New Multnomah County Central Courthouse in Oregon, and the US Embassy Compound in Mozambique. Andrea earned a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Structural Engineering from Cornell University.
