Luca Nicoletti

Luca Nicoletti is a highly experienced architectural professional currently serving as the Director of Operations for BIG Landscape & Planning at BIG - Bjarke Ingels Group since January 2020, after a tenure as Senior Architect. With a strong foundation in urban planning, Luca has been a member of the National Institute of Urban Planning (INU) from May 2014 to September 2024, contributing to the promotion of building and urban studies. Additionally, Luca has served as a Professor at the International Academy of Architecture (IAA), an NGO with consultative status with ECOSOC, and possesses prior experience as an Associate and Lead Architect at Zaha Hadid Architects from January 2015 to December 2019. Luca co-founded STUDIO NICOLETTI ASSOCIATI and has engaged in numerous academic lectures, demonstrating a commitment to energy efficiency and contemporary architecture. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science degree from Sapienza Università di Roma, earned cum laude.
