Crystal (Mitchell) Jefferson has over 15 years of experience in operational excellence and performance improvement across various healthcare and regulatory sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of HR Operational Excellence at BJC HealthCare since December 2006, Crystal leads system-wide projects focusing on workforce engagement and strategic alignment with executive leadership. Previous roles include Lead Performance Improvement Engineer at BJC, Performance Improvement Engineer Lead at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and Senior Project Manager at Tyco Healthcare, where Crystal drove quality system improvements and led significant operational initiatives. Earlier experience includes roles in regulatory affairs and process engineering at Mallinckrodt and Tyco Healthcare, showcasing expertise in compliance and product release processes. Crystal holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
