Steven Player, PharmD, MBA, CDM has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, particularly in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Steven currently holds the position of Vice President of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion at BJC HealthCare. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director of Diversity, Inclusion, & Community Engagement at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Steven has also held various positions within Barnes-Jewish Hospital, including Director of the Center for Diversity & Cultural Competency, Pharmacy Manager, Pharmacy Supervisor, and Staff Pharmacist. Steven's work experience demonstrates their strong leadership skills and commitment to promoting diversity and cultural competency within the healthcare field.

Steven Player has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, which they obtained from 1992 to 1998. In 2004 to 2006, they pursued an MBA in Business from Webster University. Furthermore, they completed a Certificate in Diversity Management in Healthcare from Georgetown University & Institute for Diversity in Health Management in 2014 to 2015.
