Merize Vermeulen

Merize Vermeulen is a qualified accounting professional with extensive experience in various accounting roles. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at BKL since September 2023, Merize has previously worked as a GL Controller at Tourvest Retail Services from February 2023 to September 2023, and as a Senior Execution Accountant at EPCM Holdings between November 2019 and February 2023. Earlier roles include an Accounting Trainee position at Moore Stephens B&W and a Financial Accountant role at Baker Tilly Greenwoods Chartered Accountants. Merize holds an Honors degree in Financial Accounting from North-West University and has been a member of the South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) since 2018, while also pursuing further education with The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants until July 2023.
