Sabyasachi Prakash

Sabyasachi Prakash is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in research and engineering within the energy sector. Currently serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Houston since February 2024, Sabyasachi previously worked as an Analytics Engineer at BKO Services, Inc., where a notable project involved developing a proof-of-concept model utilizing machine learning for sand production estimation in deep water wells. Previous experiences include roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on plasma fracturing at the University of Houston, and contributions to building a reservoir fluids laboratory at OilNet Laboratories. Sabyasachi holds a PhD in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston, a Master's in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and additional advanced degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Mining Engineering.
