Scott Harkins, P.E. SE, is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in structural engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Schaefer since August 2024, Scott has also held the position of Senior Structural Engineer at BKV Group since July 2020. Prior roles include Project Manager at Ellinwood + Machado, LLC, where responsibilities included designing multi-story residential buildings, and Structural Engineer at Broyles and Associates, where Scott developed structural contract documents for a variety of low-rise projects. Scott's early career involved internships and educational roles, including a teaching assistant position at Virginia Tech, where a Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil Engineering and a Master's of Science in Structural Engineering were earned.
