Margarita Aleksieva

Margarita Aleksieva serves as the Head of Business Unit Wind and Solar at BKW AG, where responsibilities include leading the renewables business with full P&L accountability and overseeing strategy development and implementation since June 2020. In addition, Margarita holds several board positions, including Member of the Board of Directors for SIFEM and Fosen Vind DA, and President of the Board of Directors for BelpmoosSolar AG and Juvent SA. Prior experience includes roles at IST Investment Foundation as Head of Portfolio and Asset Management for Private Infrastructure Equity, and leadership roles at Alpiq EcoPower Ltd. and Megawatt-X Ltd. Margarita holds an MBA from Purdue University and dual bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from the American University in Bulgaria.
