Lynn Echols has a diverse and extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Lynn began their career at Emory University Hospital as a Paramedic and Nursing Technician from 2001 to 2005. Lynn then worked as a Registered Nurse and Charge Nurse at Northeast Georgia Health System from 2005 to 2009. Lynn further advanced their career at Habersham Medical Center, where they served as the Director of the Emergency Department, Respiratory Services, Case Management, Coding, and Urgent Care from 2009 to 2015. During their tenure, they implemented an electronic health record system, improved efficiencies, and developed a strong employee culture. Lynn then joined Mission Health as the Director of Acute and Critical Care Inpatient Services, where they managed strategic planning, budgeting, operations, and team leadership for inpatient services until 2017. After that, Lynn held various roles at the Black Bear Lodge Treatment Center and Foundations Recovery Network, including Chief Nursing Officer & Infection Prevention Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer. In these positions, they led the overall management of the treatment centers, implemented key initiatives, and drove revenue increases, patient safety, and positive health outcomes. Lynn's leadership and expertise have made a significant impact on the organizations they have worked for.

Lynn Echols earned a Master's Degree in Nursing Administration from Piedmont University in the years 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Brenau University between 2002 and 2005. Additionally, Lynn has acquired several certifications such as BLS and ASLS from the American Heart Association, a certification as a Certified Master TEAMSTEPPS Instructor from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, and NIMS and Disaster Readiness Certifications from the Georgia Department of Emergency Preparedness. Lynn also holds an RN Compact License from the State of Georgia.
