William Thomas

William Thomas has been working as a Senior Software Developer at Black Box Co since September 2022. William is also a Community Member at FinOps Foundation since February 2022. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Software Engineer at Buttonwood from July 2014 to September 2022.

William Thomas completed their Master's degree in Information Technology from The Australian National University between 2012 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Science (Forestry) from the same university, completing it between 2007 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, William has obtained several certifications. In 2022, they obtained certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner from the FinOps Foundation, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, AWS Certified Developer – Associate, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
