Matthew Hanson, CFA

Matthew Hanson, CFA has a wealth of experience in the financial services industry. Matthew began their career in 2001 as a Financial Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Co. After two years, they moved to Banc of America Securities LLC where they worked as an Analyst in the Global Corporate and Investment Banking division. In 2005, they joined ThinkEquity LLC as an Analyst in Investment Banking, and later became Head of Corporate Finance and Vice President of Investment Banking. In 2011, they became a Partner at GSV Asset Management. In 2016, they moved to Runway Growth Capital as Partner and Head of Origination. In 2018, they joined Best Associates as Managing Director. Currently, they are the Chief Growth Officer at Black Buffalo Inc.

Matthew Hanson, CFA obtained their AB in Economics, with Honors from the University of Chicago in 2001. Prior to that, they attended Fargo North from 1994 to 1997. In 2007, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst certification from the CFA Institute.
