Jacob Y.

Jacob Y. is a Technologist Intern at Black Cape since July 2022, specializing in frontend design and development, where responsibilities include generating high-fidelity prototypes, manipulating large datasets via RESTful API, and creating custom UI elements using Material UI. Previous internship experience at Black Cape from May 2021 to December 2021 involved collaborating with cross-company teams, assisting senior engineers with JavaScript and React, and implementing project-wide testing using Jest. Earlier work experience includes summer staff at Vermont Lake Monsters, directing traffic at the baseball stadium. Jacob Y. is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, having also studied at Swinburne University of Technology and completed high school at Essex High School.
