Patrick Melanson

Patrick Melanson has been with Black Diamond since 2014. He has considerable experience in multiple industries including energy, manufacturing, metals and mining, retail, financial, government and IT. He has a proven track record of providing strategic IT visioning, planning and execution, management, mergers and acquisitions planning and integration, systems implementation, staff and culture development, analytics and sales and operations planning for large multi-national corporations.

In his current role Patrick serves as EVP & CIO of the Black Diamond Group and VP, CTO of LodgeLink. Patrick is responsible for Information Technology across Black Diamond and LodgeLink, inclusive of innovation, architecture, systems development and security.

Prior to joining Black Diamond Group, Patrick worked with two large multinational steel and tubulars manufacturers for whom he held North America roles as Senior VP of Product and Resource Management, and VP & CIO. Prior, he worked in senior roles at both Andersen Consulting and Deloitte Consulting.
