Amy Maxeiner currently serves as Vice President for Instruction at Black Hawk College since July 2016, previously holding the position of Vice President of Instruction and Student Services. Prior to this role, Amy worked at McHenry County College as the Executive Dean of Mathematics, Sciences, and Health Professions from May 2011 to June 2016. Between 2012 and 2014, Amy was the Speaker of the Assembly for the Illinois Physical Therapy Association and served as the Illinois Chapter Delegate for APTA from 2001 to 2013. Amy's earlier experience includes the role of Director of Clinical Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago from June 2006 to May 2009, and Manager of the Ambulatory Rehab Center at SwedishAmerican Health System from 1991 to 2001. Amy earned a Research Doctorate in Adult and Higher Education from Northern Illinois University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Marquette University.
