Christopher Cox

Christopher (CJ) Cox has over 25 years of experience in information security and operations management, currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Black Hills Information Security since June 2016. Previous roles include extensive positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation, where responsibilities ranged from Information System Security Engineer to Information System Security Manager, providing critical security engineering support for complex systems and leading teams through risk management processes. Additional experience includes military service as Executive Officer in the USMC, and various managerial and technical roles at firms such as SAIC, Lockheed Martin, and mindSHIFT, highlighting a comprehensive expertise in security management, network operations, and team leadership. Christopher holds a BS in Physical Science and Statistics from Colorado State University and a Professional Certificate in Unix Operating System from The George Washington University.
