Reese Niu

Reese Niu currently serves as the Vice President of Vocational Services at Black Hills Works, a position held since September 2025. In addition, Reese is the Head Volleyball Coach for the girls volleyball program at Rapid City Central High School, a role initiated in April 2024. Prior to these positions, Reese worked as the Workforce Planning Director at Elevate Rapid City from July 2022 to September 2025, focusing on designing workforce strategies that promote economic growth and accessibility for underserved communities. Earlier experience includes serving as a Team Lead Manager at Alaska Airlines from March 2016 to August 2020. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Portland State University, an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice from Portland Community College, and a high school diploma from Paloma Valley High School.
