Don Redden

Don Redden currently serves as the Chief Information and Transformation Officer at Black Hills Energy, a position held since July 2025. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Information Technology at Otter Tail Power Company from December 2016 to July 2025, where Don was responsible for overseeing computer systems, applications, networking, and cyber security. Don also held the same title at Otter Tail Corporation from November 2015 to July 2025, guiding the strategic vision of IT across multiple entities. Earlier roles include Director of Operations and Information Technology at Crary Industries Inc. and Principal Development Manager at Microsoft, where Don managed projects impacting significant sales figures. Don began career as IT Director for the City of Moorhead, managing the city intranet system. Academic credentials include a Master of Business degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the University of Mary.
