Shannon Surdez has been working at Black Hills Energy since February 2005, starting as an Associate Systems Engineer and moving up to the position of Senior Security Analyst. Before that, Shannon worked at the State of South Dakota as a Support Specialist from 2001 to 2005. Shannon obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Bellevue University in 2021, following an Associates degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Eastern Wyoming College in 1999.
